WHY DONATE?
Your donation makes a difference! Missing both arms above the elbow and/or all four limbs poses unique challenges. Having the opportunity to meet others living with the same level of limb loss provides hope, reassurance and allows for the sharing of information that makes living with this level of limb loss easier to navigate. Not only that, but attendees build long-lasting friendships and feel they have a network of support.
HOW DONATIONS HELP?
Your donations can go towards:

running the Skills for Life Workshop and/or other similar events or,

our scholarship fund that makes it financially possible for some of our bilateral upper limb loss attendees to the attend.
Through the generosity of donors we have been able to run the Skills for Life Workshop five times since 2002 at a minimal to no cost to upper limb loss individuals and a family or caregiver member. We have financially sponsored over 75 individuals living with bilateral upper limb loss to attend from within and outside of North America. Read their testimonials here.
