Karen Lundquist has worked as a nonprofit executive, bringing her experience in the healthcare and technology sectors to building workforce and life skills. Karen is currently the CEO at EmBe and the mission is close to her heart: empowering women and families to grow and thrive. Serving nearly 15,000 people every year through leadership, workforce, life skill development and much more, it is preparing for its 100th anniversary. Her career path includes executive roles at the Amputee Coalition and a sixteen year communication career at Ottobock, the leading global prosthetic manufacturer. Lundquist lived in the Minneapolis area and in Austin, Texas, before moving to Sioux Falls two years ago. She also has extensive board experience including the Sioux Falls Thrive Food Sustainability Council, AMAZE, and the Orthotic and Prosthetic Activities Foundation.
